Hotels during trade fairs like CeBIT in Hanover

By way of supplement to the individual hotel`s guest accommodation contract, the following terms apply between
Christian Stukenberg Travel Consulting & Hotel Marketing ( hereinafter termed " Agent " )
and our business partner ( hereinafter termed " Client " ):

The agent will arrange reservation of hotel accommodation according to the client`s wishes as communicated via the agent`s website reservation form, by phone, fax, letter or email.

The agent`s offers are based on the current hotel price listing & tradefair data as shown on our website. The detailed range of services, applicable rates and terms for payment & cancellation will be described in the offer itself and in further information enclosed with our confirmation.

The hotel room rates offered on our website are including:
- hotel accommodation per room / night
- breakfast served as buffet breakfast ( unless otherwise described )
- service charges
- the current German tax ( MwSt / VAT )
Room rates are subject to be revised by the agent from time to time according to the current booking status at the respective hotel and / or the contract status between the agent and a hotel. In case of a tax increase, the agent maintains the right to adjust the rates accordingly.
The agent maintains the right to assign alternative hotel accommodation to the client if neccessary ( in this case same or better hotel category at the contracted rates are guaranteed ).

Other ( optional ) services provided by the agent:
Transportation services ( shuttle-bus, private mini-van or train ) between hotel and airport and / or fairgrounds are available upon request. Rates and conditions for any other services are subject to a separate confirmation.

Payment & cancellation conditions:
Payment, deposit and cancellation terms can vary between the hotels and are also depending on the following important criteria:
- number of rooms & nights booked.
- importance of the fair to the regional hotel market.
- forecasted booking status of the hotel for period of request.
- remaining time between date of request and arrival date.
Detailed terms & conditions for payments and cancellation policies will be submitted to the client together with the hotel accommodation offer and again with confirmation of the booking.
The client approves acceptance of the specific terms & conditions by re-confirming the hotel accommodation offer in writing ( by email, fax or letter ). Deposit policies for tradefair hotel bookings normally require full or partial pre-payment via the client`s credit card or bank transfer. Payments made are non-refundable once the given latest free cancellation deadline(s) has / have expired.
There will be no refunds made on no-shows ( = failing to arrive at the booked hotel ) or on premature departure from the booked hotel rooms.
In case of deposit payments via bank transfer, all bank & currency exchange fees are payable by the client.
Any incidental charges ( e.g.: telephone, restaurant, minibar consumption etc. ) are payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon departure, according to the hotel`s usual credit-policies ( cash or credit-card ).

Should claimed deposit payments not be received within the given deadlines, the agent maintains the right to withdraw from any booking contract without compensation and / or further notice.

Exclusion of liability:
The hotel information and rates as well as all tradefair data as listed on our website are based on the details provided by the respective hotel companies and tradefair organizers. Therefore, the agent can assume no liability for the correctness and completeness of the entries made. We cannot be held liable for damage incurred as a result of incorrect or missing entries.
It is recommended that you contact the organizer of a specific event / tradefair directly, before you fix your travel itinerary, in order to ensure there are no last minute changes.

Jurisdiction:
These business terms are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Fulfilment and sole jurisdiction for all claims arising for both parties out of the business transaction shall be Hamburg. If parts of these business terms should be considered not effective, the rest of the terms & conditions remains valid.
